Between the release of too many sub-par designs with huge production runs and their ubiquitous appearances at "hipster" outlets like Urban Outfitters, Kidrobot's iconic Dunny figures have become a bit of a yawn over the past couple years. So when a truly special design comes along, it's cause for excitement. Case in point: the premiere toy emporium's new Togo Monroe Dunny designed by ilovedust.
The U.K.-based creative collective, known (and envied) in the design world for its dazzling animated videos for MTV and Nike, has laid down patches of surreal black-and-white imagery on the eight-inch-tall vinyl varmint, topping it off with a tiny gold heart on its head. To prove its reign, the fanged figure carries a jewel-topped scepter in its right fist. Expect this one to go fast.
